FDA banned ephedra because it believed that taking ephedra based diet pills are far more harmful than carrying around excess fat day in and day out. But ultimately, the question is; do ephedra diet pills actually work?
The government, with all its wit and wisdom, has tried unsuccessfully to ban ephedra based diet pills. I would like to take the time to point out that those people who continue to try pill after pill searching for a fat burner that gives them the same effects can, for the time being, quit searching because they are still available for sale and you can even buy them online. Many people who have had trouble losing weight with diet and exercise alone have found the weight loss success they crave with ephedra based diet pills. They can tell you from years of experience that there is no other diet pill currently on the market that will help you make the dramatic changes in weight and body fat loss. Bodybuilders and elite fitness models swear by their effectiveness and have used them both safely and successfully for a number of decades.
The top of the line preparations will contain both ephedra and caffeine. No other combination appears to work quite as well. Ephedra contains alkaloids which are active ingredients for effective fat loss. However, a few companies have begun adding hoodia to the mix for an even more effective appetite suppressant effect.
Common ingredients used in over the counter diet pills you can buy in the store contain green tea and caffeine. Although green tea will boost your metabolism just a tiny bit and caffeine will do the same, to date none of these supplements have been able to duplicate the dramatic weight loss success of ephedra based diet pills.
Although, we have all heard the frightening stories of people having medical problems and health complications when using these diet pills, it's still important to remember that in almost every case, those people had underlying medical conditions that should have prevented them from taking stimulating supplements for weight loss of any sort had they just employed a bit of common sense and consulted their physician long before they took the drug. The majority of all otherwise healthy dieters can safely take the herb. Always read the manufacturer's label, heed the medical warnings, and never take more than the recommended dose of any supplement. Just follow the suggested dose as prescribed on the product labels.
Any person who has used ephedra based diet pills for weight loss and then tried other types of fat burners can tell you that other products failed to produce the same dramatic results. Simply put, no other weight loss supplement has been able to duplicate its effectiveness.
If you want to lose weight fast, couple your ephedra diet supplement intake with proper exercise, diet and a resolve to really lose weight. That way you will get the best results. Good luck and may you have the body you have always dreamed of!
