It seems like every time you turn your head detoxification programs are becoming increasingly popular, but what's the right way to detox? The experts have different recommendations for herbs, fiber and nutrients, but all agree on the importance of pure water.
Purified Water is a Must:
Some companies even sell their own brand of bottled water, which is what they recommend that you use with their program. The problem with drinking water from a plastic container is that chemical compounds used to create the polymer seep inside. Some people can smell it and taste it. Others have become so accustomed to it, that they don't even recognize it. Drinking more purified water is a natural way to remove toxins from the kidneys, bladder and digestive system.
Supplements are Needed to Help Organs:
Herbs, nutrients and fiber may be needed to remove heavy metals, like lead and mercury. These heavy metals build up in the liver, the heart and the brain. They play a role in many degenerative diseases. Parasites build up in the digestive tract, causing bloating, weight gain and zapping your energy. There are herbal supplements and nutrients that kill those parasites.
The Right Plan:
The right way to detox is to look for a complete supplement that addresses parasites, heavy metals and yeast overgrowth. While you are taking it, you should drink plenty of home purified water. Store it in glass containers in the refrigerator and take it with you wherever you go.
If you don't have a home purifier, you should really consider investing in one. The waters of our planet are no longer pristine. That's one of the reasons that we need a detoxification program in the first place. Anything that is in the environment eventually ends up in our streams, river and groundwater stores. Public safety groups have identified over 2400 different cancer-causing chemicals in publicly treated supplies.
If you think that the right way to detox is to only drink bottled water, there are several things that you need to know about, other than the chemical compounds that seep in from the plastic. Most manufacturers use tap-water. They may run it through a reverse osmosis or other large scale purification process, but they cannot purify every drop, as you can at home.
The purification methods used by major manufacturers do not reduce chemical contaminants. Independent testing has found high levels of carcinogens in some of those bottles. Store brands are some of the worst offenders.
You want the right way to detox, but do you want to waste money? If you do not have a purifier in your kitchen, what do you cook with? What do you use for making coffee? Heating or boiling does not get rid of impurities, other than bacteria. In fact, boiling tap-water releases cancer-causing chemicals into the air. You are, in effect, eating and breathing carcinogens every time that you turn on a tap.
Researchers have found high levels of THMs (cancer-causing byproducts of chlorination) in the bloodstreams of people that have just taken a shower. They seep through our skin and we inhale them. You may find the right way to detox, but if you don't reduce your exposure to these toxic chemicals, there's not much point. Look for a purifier that removes THMs, because those are the best kind.
Now that you are armed with this information you know how important purified water is to a detoxification program.
Defects in the gene that encodes the XIAP protein result in a serious immune malfunction. Scientists used biochemical analyses to map the protein's ability to activate vital components of the immune system. Their results have recently been published in Molecular Cell, a journal of international scientific repute... […]

In laboratory tests of rectal tissue, researchers from the Microbicide Trials Network (MTN) found that the reformulated gel was less harmful […]
